I am really beginning to appreciate the posts at Copyblogger. This is a nice look at the new marketing strategy that takes a not-so-fresh approach to sales: customer retention. In retail sales, the most successful reps manage relationships with customers to keep them coming back. The recording industry treats their customers like they treat their artists; as a liability that should be controlled. Let’s hope that this new model is successful.
